On Monday, July 25, 2011, the Jackson County Remedy Task Force concluded an investigation into synthetic marijuana being marketed as “Herbal Incense” and “Potpourri” at two adjoining gas stations in Marianna, Florida. The substances, unlike conventional incense and potpourri, are sold from behind the table and only to persons over the age of 18. Although printed on the label are warnings against human consumption the products are being sold to smoke.
